The application for student chairs will be made available on September 5. In order for you to be eligible you must be a senior and have been involved in HAMUN for at least one year prior for HAMUN XXXV.

Congratulations to the following committees who won the quiz bowl at DRW1 this past Saturday: First Place: GA Plenary Second Place: World Bank (IBRD) Third Place: ECOSOC & UN HABITAT (Tie) For the delegates who attended the DRW from these committees, you will receive bonus points towards the NYC MUN Trip! Congratulations again!
Secretary General's Award: NYC Trip

Students and Sponsors, this year, HAMUN is proud to present one delegation with a trip to NYC to represent HAMUN in the UNA-USA MUN international conference at the United Nations during mid-May. Six to eight Delegates' and their sponsors' will receive a scholarship from HAMUN to pay for airfare and accomodations during the conference. Attending UNA-USA MUN Conference is an honor. Student delegates come from around the world including countries like Italy, Japan, Finland and other great countries. In order to represent HAMUN, the delegation must attend DRWs, regionals and other activities as well as turn in quality position papers and participate in committee during conference. Student delegates will be judged in their country delegations and will earn points as a team. Sponsors will be emailed a points rubric shortly that will explain the process, but ultimately, the award will be given to the country delegation who performs with the most quality and quantity overall. Seniors, unfortunately due to UNA-USA criteria, you are not eligible for the award, you are still bound by the point system. Do not bring your country delegation down! Make sure to attend DRWs and regionals as we have other surprises and incentives in store that only you will be eligible for later on in the school year.
