General Assembly Plenary
Chairperson(s):
General Assembly Plenary
Hello Delegates,
As the Chair and Director of the General Assembly Plenary Committee, we are so excited to welcome you to HAMUN 2010! As always, our agenda is open to discussion of any topic. However, we will be utilizing this year's DRW to set up an organized scheme for topics, so it is important that you be there.
As your Chair, Courtney will be moderating proceedings by enforcing Parliamentary procedure and ensuring that Representatives participate in lively debate in a smooth and timely manner. Adam's responsibilities as Director include oversight over the resolution writing and drafting processes, checking for both format and content. In addition, Adam will delegating the committee when necessary.
As always, GA Plenary is open to topics. Remember, though, that topics should be presented ahead of time at DRW. There we will also discuss a new structure for Plenary preparation, procedure and conduct, so make sure that you attend!
We look forward to seeing you at DRW in September and Conference in February!
Sincerely,
Courtney Lee, Chair
Adam Felman, Director

Courtney Lee, your Chair, is a second year Plan II and Latin American Studies major at the University of Texas at Austin. She attended Jersey Village High School, where she was heavily invested in both the Model UN and Debate teams. Nowadays, in addition to HAMUN, she participates in UT's Model UN program and Plan II Student Association. Though she desires to be a bon vivant, she would never refuse a hefty bowl of Rotini pasta and marinara sauce.

Adam Feldman, your Director, is a freshman at the University of Michigan studying business and engineering. He attended Emery High School and founded the MUN club at his school. When he's not busy with HAMUN, he plays tennis and builds websites. And while he thoroughly approves of Courtney's choice of food, he prefers elbow pasta himself.
