Chairperson(s): UN HABITAT
Welcome to UNHABITAT
Dear Delegates,
Welcome to another year at HAMUN! We are so happy that you choose to be a part of UNHABITAT this year. This is the first year that HAMUN has hosted UNHABITAT and we know that your presence will make it very successful.
As you all know, UNHABITAT’s mission is to make the world a better place. This year, the topics we are focusing on are water rights and squatter settlements. Even though they may sound trivial, both of these topics have started major wars and are at the root of ongoing conflicts. Some argue that if these issues were solved the world would be a more peaceful place.
We look forward to seeing you at the DRWs and at Conference. Have an exciting year!
Warmest Regards,
Danny and Bano
