Undercover: Spy Agencies

About this Committee

In a parallel universe closely resembling modern-day Earth, around the years 2028 or 2030, the world finds itself on the brink of catastrophe. The scenario is set in a time not far from our own, where technological advancements and geopolitical tensions have intensified. In this universe, a Private Military Company (PMC) based in the southern hemisphere—likely in Africa or South America—has gone rogue, breaking away from its original mission and seizing control of a nation's missile arsenal. This unexpected turn of events has sent shockwaves across the globe, as the PMC now threatens to launch these missiles against superpowers around the world, disrupting global stability and potentially igniting widespread conflict.

Throughout the committee, delegates will face a series of crisis events designed to challenge their strategic thinking and test their alliances. One of the most dramatic twists could involve the revelation of double agents within the agencies. These double agents, who have secretly been working for the rogue PMC, might receive covert instructions from the crisis team to sabotage their own agency's efforts, creating chaos and deepening mistrust among delegates. As these revelations unfold, agencies may be forced to form temporary alliances, putting aside their differences to confront emerging threats such as a rogue AI or the release of a bio-weapon engineered by the PMC. Hostage situations could arise, where key personnel from one agency are captured by another, prompting high-stakes negotiations or daring rescue operations. In another possible scenario, sensitive information or advanced technology could be leaked to the public or enemy states, forcing agencies to manage the fallout, recover the compromised assets, and prevent further breaches while maintaining their standing on the global stage.

The combination of confidential information, potential betrayals, and evolving crises will keep delegates on edge, ensuring an engaging and thought-provoking experience where every decision carries significant consequences.
