Mongol Conquest

About this Committee

13th century Mongolian Steppe is a world divided by tribal loyalty, family reputation and ties, military strength, and ambition for conquest. Powerful clans and tribal groups compete for farming and grazing lands, trading routes(like the silk road), and allies, while rival leaders struggle to conquer and govern the steppe under their own authority.

This crisis committee places delegates in the middle of that struggle. Delegates will represent influential political leaders, warriors, nobles, family members, and other figures connected to the Mongol, Kereit, Naiman, Merkit, Tatar, and neighboring clans and factions. Each character will enter this committee with their own loyalties, relationships, resources, ambitions, and grievances to survive this time period.
