As a Press delegate, you receive a backstage pass to all proceedings of conference committees. With this access comes the responsibility of informing your fellow delegates and the general public. Reporters in press are expected to attend committee sessions, investigate positions, delve into the details of compromises and negotiations, and interview other delegates. Then, reporters must produce high quality written work under strict news deadlines to inform conference-goers and shape the very narrative of HAMUN 52. Meeting these deadlines, gathering information and crafting the articles all while remaining loyal to your news agency's identity is certainly a challenge. However, Press is a masterclass in maintaining grace under fire, communication skills, and the art of informing audiences.
